Sequence images by Duane Michals

I was trying to find more about sequence and something about the best artists in this area. I had found a lot of them but my interest has stopped on the photo with title "Dr Heisenberg's Magic Mirror of Unfertainty" from 1998 by Duane Michals an American photographer who creates narratives a series of images. The pressetation of the photo really caught my eye because of the way how the artist was holding the camera and how the mirror underline the girl, focuse on her face.

The mirror in front of the girl is transforming/changing everything. In in every picture the girl is presenting from the different perspective. In one her lips are very big then in the centrum of attention is the eye but in the last one there is no face at all, the face is disappearing

“Don’t try to be an artist. Find the thing within you that needs to be expressed. You might find it is art.” - Duane Michals

This quote make me to think a lot about my work, what I am trying to create.I think that making art is showing your feeling emotion, the real you. The person that you are. Not pretending someone you are not. Stop trying to hard just do what you feel, and make people around you to feel the same by your art/work.

  1. A good choice of artist. Remember to source the image you use in your ressearch by showing the website address at the very least. Also, give your research some context, so try to identify what it is about this research that you may be influenced by in your own work.
